The Plumbing Video Station was developed specifically for ipad to allow plumbing students to view instructional videos during practical application. 


The ipads were mounted in clear housing units in accessible areas for students while undertaking practical learning tasks. 


The video stations allowed students to review processes via the videos, then complete the physical tasks. 


Student feedback was extremely positive. The project increased pass rates by 30%.

The interactive ibooks consisted of two units within the Electrical apprenticeship.


The selected units were chosen as they were common in multiple electrical courses. The ibooks were developed to re-engage students with interactive activities, videos and self assessment quizzes.  


Students were able to review the units independently while completing activities and self assessments to test their competency of the the unit. 


The project was successful in engaging students to undertake the coursework and pass each unit competently.

The Holmesglen Augmented app was a concept project designed for students to provide useful interactive information around campus. 


Students could scan areas around campus and be presented with augmented interactive opportunities.


Alternative uses included wayfinding, on campus tours, inductions and educational interactions.
